Where to Buy Gift Cards
The Downtown Auburn Gift Cards can be purchased with a credit card below, or in person at the front desk of the Equal Rights Heritage Center located at 25 South Street & Lincoln Street with cash or check. Free two-hour upper-level parking is offered in the Downtown City Parking Garage located across the street from the building.
Certificates can be purchased with cash, check and credit card; values range from $25 - $500. BID collects no added fees for this service, so we greatly appreciate payment by check, for large orders & amounts. If you have questions, please call the BID office at 315.252-7874.

CUSTOMERS:
How to Use Gift Cards
Use your certificate at any participating business for any amount over $5.
The certificate will be returned to you, listing your current balance, if not redeemed in full.
Lost certificates can only be replaced with the corresponding issue number. Call the BID office 315.252-7874 to make arrangements.
Businesses must honor certificates for a five-year window from their issue date.
Not usable for gratuities nor refundable or redeemable for cash or credit, unless required by law.
MERCHANTS:
How to Process Gift Cards
Customer purchases are recorded on the card on the inside left panel; please list your business name, date, amount of transaction and available remaining balance. If not redeemed in full, please return the card to the customer.
Send an invoice, with this same info included, and a copy of the customer receipt to the BID. Our mailing address is Downtown Auburn BID, ERHC, 25 South Street, Auburn, NY 13021
At the end of the month, BID will reconcile with businesses where certificates were used, and cut and send a reimbursement check for the amount spent.
Please denote on the invoice how much was spent at your business, the date, the certificate issue number, with a copy of the customer receipt.
Cards are not usable for gratuities, nor refundable or redeemable for cash or credit, unless required by law.
Remaining amounts $5 or less can be redeemed to the customer for cash with documentation. We recommend that no amounts over $5 are redeemable for cash.
The last merchant to cash out the total value of the certificate will return it to the BID office.
