WHAT DOES THE DOWNTOWN BID DO?
The BID markets and promotes Downtown businesses and events, and pursues and assists with the establishment of new businesses downtown.
Our Beautification Crew cleans the Downtown streets and parks, ensuring they look their best. BID manages the annual Flower Program that fills the flower pots and hanging baskets each summer season with a variety of plantings. BID has also added floral beds to various downtown parks and corner lots, making them more attractive.
BID organizes several events each year, including First Friday, the Downtown Auburn Summer Concert Series, Founder’s Day and the Annual Holiday Parade & Family Fun Day.
BID’s dedicated staff and Board of Directors work together to promote and improve Downtown Auburn.
